What is NextPage?
NextPage is a 'Content Manager', an application intended to facilitate maintaining the contents of websites.
A major base idea in the development of NextPage is the thought that websites, no matter size or goal, are oftenly template based, ie, up to a certain extend, clusters of pages share mutual characteristics. Think of a header/footer section, menus etc.

NextPage's template abilities make putting out large amounts of uniform pages quite easy.
By catagorizing the files to be generated into groups, you can assign each group of pages their own characteristics: files to be inserted, group-dependent links, output path, header/footer, color-settings and so on.
NP can be used on a local or remote server and optionally upload your pages to another webserver. The exact howabouts of using NextPage can be found in the manual section

NextPage is fit up to work with multiple useraccounts, each with their own set of permissions, set up by the main user, the administrator. The program doesn't know a CVS provision though, so working with multiple users should be done with care.

NextPage was written in Perl 5.
